Pamela Ross-Kung is the founder of Safe Food Management (a subsidiary of Ross-Kung Management, Inc.) and has over 20 years of food industry experience. Her expertise is in food safety, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, including food protection and defense.

She can "translate" regulatory and scientific language into terms that can be understood at all levels of your organization and provides common sense solutions to today’s complex food safety issues.

Prior to founding Safe Food Management, Pamela worked in the foodservice industry in a variety of roles. She got her start in the regulatory arena by providing inspectional services to Massachusetts cities and towns.

In addition, she worked with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, analyzing policies and regulations and providing technical assistance to local boards of health and the foodservice industry.

Pamela is a Registered Sanitarian with undergraduate degrees in Food Science and Business Management. She also holds an M.S. in Training and Development from Lesley University, School of Management.

She is also a Registered ServSafe® Instructor, having personally trained thousands of foodservice personnel throughout the United States, at all levels of the industry.

Pamela is recognized as a Certified HACCP trainer by the FDA and AFDO (the Association of Food and Drug Officials). In addition to providing HACCP training programs, she developed a USDA-approved HACCP course, designed for all levels of the food industry, entitled "Establishing Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Programs" which is currently available as a college credited course and can be modified to serve as a Certificate Program.

As a highlight to her career, Pamela was awarded an FDA Innovative Food Safety Grant. The purpose of the grant was to assist the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to develop a HACCP and Risk Control Training Program and Instructor Guide for local boards of health.
